Since graduating from Brighton University of Art in 2018, I have gained over 6 years experience in creating content for luxury fashion, lifestyle, wellness, home, and travel brands. And have worked with some industry leaders such as, Phaidon, Wallpaper*, Knight Frank, Gieves and Hawkes and Gentleman’s Journal. These experiences have allowed me to create impactful, and meaningful work
that resonates with the individual brand, and engages the audience.
My credentials span creative/art direction, production, branding, managing budgets, and design for website (wire frames, web banners, newsletters), print, social media, marketing, and advertising projects.
I am a committed and hard working individual, that believes in the importance of creating a strong collaborative team environment. I have a passion for good design, I am detail-oriented, and driven by creating work to a high standard.
Gentleman’s Journal - Senior Designer
As a designer at Gentleman’s Journal my role spanned a multitude
of platforms from print, to production, managing budgets, social media and web. Daily tasks involved upholding the production of the magazine, organizing shoots, and designing layouts, liaising with talent agents, writers, photographers, stylist, groomers, and printers.
Other smaller daily tasks included creating social media stories, and posts, preparing imagery for online articles, making web banners, and sales partnership pitch decks.
As well as the magazine I also worked for G Studio projects, the
agency side of Gentleman’s Journal. These jobs involved an array
of commercial projects, from branding to running campaigns.
Palladian Publications - Graphic / Editorial Designer
As a graphic designer and editorial layout artist I was responsible for designing 1 quarterly, and 2 monthly magazines. The job had a fast paced turn around and required excellent time management skills, as well as keen attention to detail.
It was imperative that layouts were meticulously designed to ensure an eye-pleasing read for the viewer, visual consistency, and a professional look throughout.
My specific roles included designing front covers, DPS and single page article designs, text and image layout, as well as creating printed and digital branded material for promotional events, such as web banners, gifs, and adverts.
Wallpaper* City Guides - Photo Editor Assistant / Production
As Photo Editor Assistant my role was to manage the imagery within the publications, ensuring when re printing / creating new guides, everything was up to date. I had to fact check the imagery content, source, plan and update new imagery, as well as manage and produce shoot weeks, and photographers weekly schedules world wide. The USP of the travel guides was its design focused vision, which meant communication with photographers was really important to ensure continuity within the photography for every guide.
